To be eligible for research grants, collaborations, forums and events, please apply to our AI researcher and startup registry. Selected registrants will be contacted for grant funding, research competitions, and other opportunities.
Newfoundation collaborates with a network of funders and investors, academic institutions e.g. MIT, Cambridge, UCL, AI Institutes, and compute providers. We support our registry network through making connections, offering and supporting research and development funding, and co-publishing research papers. Our team and network work and/or graduated from leading AI research teams and universities including Google, DeepMind, Anthropic, Ndea, Berkley, Stanford, CSM, University of California, University of Oxford.
Particular areas of research interest that will be prioritised for grant funding and research collaborations: Agentic search in the space of agents, programs, skills. Evolutionary optimization. Agentic reasoning and Interleaved Chain-of-Thought (CoT) with Tool Use, program/tool synthesis and multi-agent coordination with MARL architectures. AI Safety and Governance.
